💜 GLG Affiliate Athlete Opportunity Fund

Supporting the Women Who Represent & Build This Community

Grapple Like a Girl isn’t just a brand—it’s a movement powered by women who train hard, lift each other up, and proudly represent what this community stands for.

Over the past few years, GLG has grown into a powerful network of more than 375 women worldwide through our affiliate community. These are the women who wear GLG, support each other, tell their stories, build confidence, and show up—on and off the mats.

As of January 1, 2026, I created the GLG Athlete Opportunity Fund to give back to them.

🥋 Who This Fund Supports

This fund is exclusively dedicated to supporting our GLG Affiliates—the women and girls who proudly represent GLG, contribute to our community, and embody the values we care about:

Grit
Kindness
Courage
Resilience
Women supporting women

Support from the fund may be used for:

Competition entry fees
Travel assistance when needed
Gear support
Meaningful jiu-jitsu opportunities they might otherwise miss

Selections are thoughtful, story-driven, and based on impact and alignment, not popularity.

🏆 Quarterly Registration Support

Four times a year, GLG supports three members of our affiliate community by helping cover their competition registration fees.

Each quarter, three recipients are selected:

One recipient receives up to $150
One recipient receives up to $100
One recipient receives up to $50

This opportunity is exclusively available to members of the GLG Affiliate Program, a global community of more than 375 women.

Recipients are selected based on their stories, needs, and commitment to representing and uplifting the GLG community.

💡 How It Works

When you shop with GLG, you may see the option to “Add a Tip” at checkout.

That isn’t a tip for us.

Every contribution goes directly toward helping GLG Affiliates pursue competition opportunities and continue doing incredible things in this sport.

GLG also personally contributes to the fund. It’s a partnership between our brand + our community to lift up the women who pour so much into GLG.

If you would like to make a contribution to the fund separately from your purchase, please reach out at grapplelikeagirlbjj@gmail.com .

✨ Why It Matters

Competing and participating in jiu-jitsu can change lives, but it isn’t always financially accessible. This fund helps bridge that gap so more women and girls can:

Gain confidence
Push their limits
Create unforgettable experiences
Represent women in jiu-jitsu proudly

When they step onto those mats, they don’t stand there only as athletes—they stand there backed by a community of women. 💜

📣 Follow Along

As the fund grows, we’ll share stories, highlights, and supported athletes so you can see exactly who you’ve helped uplift.
